The Lord called April to a new life in Christ at the age of 23. A young mother at the time, she experienced a completely changed life. As a first generation Christian, April was hungry for the teachings of God’s word and the support of mature Christian women. She saturated her life with Bible studies, women ministries and building friendships that honored God, She has taught VBS, Sunday school, Pioneers group, lead small groups such as Moms in touch, prayer groups, Bible study and has been leading a small women’s group for 5 years. April’s life journey has been to know the God who completely knows her, to erect His truths in her life and cast out and expose lies, and to know the power of the cross through every challenge. April is committed to growing in Christ and encouraging women to know Christ and who they are in Him. Recognizing the power of influence the mature Godly women had in her own life in the early years, April wants to be that for others in this generation.

April has been married to her husband Carlos for 31 years, they have 4 children together, 3 of which are married and 2 live out of state. April loves to go for walks, travel, read, watch cheesy girl movies with her daughters, worship the Lord and spend time with family.
