WE HAVE THIS HOPE AS AN ANCHOR FOR THE SOUL, FIRM AND SECURE. IT ENTERS THE INNER SANCTUARY BEHIND THE CURTAIN, WHERE, JESUS, WHO WENT BEFORE US, HAS ENTERED ON OUR BEHALF. Hebrews 6:19
THIS SUNDAY
Please join us this Communion and First Sunday of Advent, December 1st, 2024 and be part of our family at:
Christ Church PJS
545 Old Town Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY
We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, and Spirit-led!
In this season of Advent, we begin to seek Christ the Lord in a posture of expectant hope that first was birthed by a prophetic word of a prophet of old!
Malachi was a Messenger and Ambassador for God. And he told of another Messenger, who would come hundreds of years later, to Prepare the Way for the KING:
“Behold, I send My MESSENGER, And he will PREPARE THE WAY before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His TEMPLE, Even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. BEHOLD, HE IS COMING,” Says the LORD of hosts.”
Malachi 3:1
What are you expecting in the meditation of your heart for this Christmas season? Who is the anchor of that hope? Where is the space of that grace revealed by a cold crib that was once filled by Christ who came to fill our lives with His Heaven sent Hope!
Psalm 42; Hebrews 6:13-20
